  • Brittany McConnell

    DIRECTOR, HIP-HOP, CONTEMPORARY, INTRO

    brittany brings over a decade of experience teaching, judging, and actively participating in hip hop events throughout new england.

    having immersed herself in diverse dance styles, particularly hip hop and contemporary, brittany attributes much of her education and inspiration to her mentor, daniel seven, founder of rebirth dance company and renowned UK producer. She has shared her knowledge and skills in both collegiate and competitive settings, receiving recognition and national awards for her choreography.

    Brittany values a well-rounded dance education that includes an understanding of culture and history. By instilling a love for dance at the core of her teaching philosophy, brittany aims to ignite a passion for dance in each student, fostering confidence and enabling them to fulfill their highest potential.

  • Adrienne Pellitier

    BALLET, LYRICAL, CONTEMPORARY, TAP

    Adrienne is a national award-winning choreographer and skilled teacher that has been a part of the Maine dance community since she started her training at the age of four years old. Adrienne trained intensely in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, musical theatre, and contemporary and has received her Teacher Certification in Acrobatic Arts instruction. She became a company member with the Maine State Ballet at the young age of 16 and worked her way through the ranks to become a principal ballerina with the company by age 22. Dancing/Performance Background Adrienne began performing featured roles (including the Porcelain Doll in The Nutcracker, Cupid in Don Quixote, and Lead Coquette Can Can Parisian) when she was a young student with the Maine State Ballet. From there, she went on to perform many leading roles which include but are not limited to Clara, The Sugar Plum Fairy, and the Arabian Princess in The Nutcracker; Cinderella in Cinderella; the Can Can Doll in The Magic Toy Shop; and Swanhilda in Coppelia. However, her artistic reach goes beyond that of ballet. Adrienne was recognized as a student for her strong tap and musical theater abilities when she received the Peggy Etter Tap scholarship. Her training background in that realm includes close mentorship from icons such as Robyn Hurder (Moulin Rouge), Clyde Alves (Anything Goes), Andrei Chagas (Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story), Leigh-Ann Esty (Carousel), Sara Esty (An American in Paris), Solange Sandy (Chicago), and Roberto Forleo (Trockadero). This led Adrienne into her pursuit of musical theatre experience where she performed three leading roles in local productions as Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, Brenda in Catch Me If you Can, and Natalie in All Shook Up. Adrienne continues to be one of Maine’s premier professional dancers as a principal dancer with the Maine State Ballet.

  • Kaylee Snyder

    JAZZ, SKILLS, ACRO, CONTEMPORARY

    Kaylee, originally from Maine, is currently pursuing her BA in dance at Endicott College. She is a valued member of the college’s National Championship-winning Dance Team and also participates in the Repertory Dance Ensemble. Kaylee’s training spans various dance styles, with a dedication to jazz technique and choreography. She is committed to exploring how jazz technique can be integrated into different genres and aspects of students’ lives. Kaylee’s primary objective is to ignite a love for dance in others and inspire them to pursue their passion.

  • Olivia Bartlett

    Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Acro

    Olivia, originally from Maine, started her professional dance career at age 15 when she danced on tour with Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company as a guest artist. Soon after at 16 years old she graduated high school early at the top of her class then moved to New York City to dance, choreograph, and teach at the Joffrey Ballet. During her time at Joffrey she performed as Snow Princess in The Nutcracker, Gypsy in Don Quixote, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, taught the Demi Soloist JBS class on a weekly basis, and set many memorable contemporary works for exhibitions that were performed at various venues throughout Manhattan, including the prestigious Martha Graham Theater. After a while Olivia decided to focus on her commercial dance career, which she began after training one-on-one with Dancing with the Stars professionals and world renowned choreographers at Broadway Dance Center. Although primarily based in New York, she frequently travels to LA, Miami, and Vegas for work. She can be seen dancing in Verizon Wireless, T Mobile, Nintendo, and Emsculpt commercials, as well as the upcoming tv show “Paper Empire”, where she is a reoccurring series dancer and character. Olivia has also done purely acting jobs outside of dance such as; commercials for Fabletics, Amazon, Sunnimax, Chase Bank, and Soylent; featured roles on tv shows including The Deuce, FBI, and Law & Order: SVU; and performing professionally with More Than Music Events and as Disney Princesses at various corporate and private events in NYC. Outside of dancing and acting Olivia frequently models. Past work includes walking annually in New York Fashion Week, NYFW Bridal, Everything Formals bridal and prom exhibits; live modeling with Oribe and Make-Up Forever; and still shoots for The Wedding Dresser and Joffrey Ballet apparel.

     Olivia has had the pleasure of working for highly esteemed photographers, specifically, the talented Joe McNally and Rachel Neville. Her love of working with kids ultimately led Olivia to being an educator; however, she loves teaching to all ages and abilities. She believes anyone can dance and it’s never too early or too late in life to start! Her teaching style zones in on performance and storytelling, while maintaining a technical approach. She encourages students to dance beyond their comfort zone, dance every moment to the fullest, and bring the drama!

  • Alice Boudreau

    ACRO, JAZZ, TAP

    Alice cultivated her passion for dance through years of training across various styles. Specializing in acro, musical theatre, jazz and tap, she found her niche and excelled as a competitive dancer. Following her competitive career, Alice pursued further dance education at Dean College, dedicating herself to the dance program and learning from master teachers. With a wealth of knowledge and choreography expertise, she enriches SFDC with her skills. Alice prioritizes instilling proper technique and safety while fostering an environment for students to develop, enhance their skills, and boost their confidence as dancers.

  • Aiden Fortier

    CONTEMPORARY

    Aiden boasts a decade-long journey as a competition dancer, marked by numerous accolades, scholarships, and recognitions. Among his notable achievements is clinching the 1st place title for contemporary male soloist at the Youth America Grand Prix regional competition. Additionally, he lent his expertise to the REVEL dance convention as a ProReveler dance assistant for three seasons. Aiden has also choreographed various pieces for Portland Arts and Technology High School's dance program. His pieces were featured in the school's spring dance showcase. Next year, Aiden's dedication to dance will flourish as he embarks on his collegiate journey at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, courtesy of a full Posse Arts scholarship. There, he will pursue a major in contemporary dance with aspirations of forging a professional career in the field. Aiden's artistic journey extends beyond performance; he harbors ambitions of sharing his passion through teaching and choreography. Eagerly anticipating the opportunity to serve as a guest artist, Aiden is poised to inspire future generations of dancers.

    Breaking

    Jimeel Garret (J-Theory) is a B-Boy from Maine. he started breaking at 13, practicing with neighborhood friends before connecting with other b-boys in the area. over time, he learned the foundations of the art and began competing in battles, which solidified his passion for dance. his style leans toward a rythmic approach, combing musicality and movement to create a unique flow on the floor.

    Brianna is an accomplished dancer with years of experience gracing the stage and studio. currently, brianna brings her expertise and enthusiasm to the front desk, where she serves as a friendly and knowledgable resource for all inquiries related to registration and dance studio operations. brianna is here to help you naviagte your experience with warmth and confidence.
